FAQ

1. How's it work?
Well, I have a spreadsheet and a basement full of boxes labeled by size. For each item you add to the boxes, you earn a credit. It costs one credit to remove an item from the boxes to keep.
2. What kinds of things can I swap?
Anything that can roughly be considered clothing. Shoes, pants, shirts, cloth diapers, accessories, items for babies, children, or adults, etc.
3. What condition is the clothing in?
No holes. No stains. Each item will be checked before credits are given. Anything that doesn't qualify will be returned, unless you prefer it be added to the craft/freebie box.
4. Tell me more about this craft/freebie box.
Any item that doesn't qualify for the swap can be added to this box. Taking an item from this box doesn't cost any credits. Need scrap for patches or a project? Out of credits, but open to mending items to make them work? This is the box for you.
5. What if I just want to help out families in my community, or have more to give than I need in return?
You are welcome to donate some or all of your credits. They will be made available on a first come- first serve basis.
6. Does this cost anything?
No.
7. What do you get out of this?
This isn't a business. No one is making any money. The only real perk for me is first pick of incoming items.
8. Well, then, how do I sign up?
Just message me. I'll need a name and either an email address or phone number I can text to. This will be the method of communication for anything swap related.
9. How do I swap items?
Either schedule a time to swing by my house, or to meet at an event we'll both be attending. You can just drop donations off and I'll contact you after I've gone through them. It will probably only take a day or two, but expect a week just in case my schedule is full. If you want items, notify me 48 hours in advance and I'll have the boxes containing the sizes you want ready.
